I truly don't know how our birth would've gone without Bethany! From our beginning interview to our postpartum visit she was patient, kind, caring, informative, and insightful! We had a lot of unexpected twists and turns during my labor and Bethany helped guide us through every experience and decision so that me and my husband felt as comfortable as possible in each situation. We had a hospital birth and had lots of doctors and nurses in and out, so Bethany was our main support and guide. I tend to ask a million questions which she answered every time, and Bethany never once got frustreted with my emotional ups and downs. This was our first birth, and I was beyond nervous...my husband and I were and are so grateful for all her help and insights along the way. She suggested a plethora of labor comfort measures and she had such insights into what would work well for me. She also got my husband involved and made it a collaborative process, which I imagine is hard to do, but she did it with such ease and joy! I ended up with an unplanned C section, but even that situation I felt at peace with because of her calm assurances.
Bethany was truly the perfect 'sherpa' for our mountain-like journey of pregnancy and birth! I'd highly recommend her to ANYONE!
