Dasha is one of my favorite people on this planet. It was a God ordained plan for me to meet her and have her as my doula. I wish I got to deliver my older two kids with her. I interviewed several doulas that were wonderful but after my husband and I first meeting with Dasha, we looked at each other with a smile and we knew she was it! Throughtout the entire pregnancy, she educated us on the many ways to prepare, she eased so many of my questions and best of us, in the most loving way she convinced us to do a water home birth. And it truly was a remarkable birth. I could cry thinking about it, Dasha was my angel that day. I honestly leaned on her even more so than my midwife during early labor. My active labor ending up being only 2 hours and Dasha guided me through every minute and I ended having so much peace and calm knowing that everything is going well, that I delivered so quickly. She coached my husband how to best support me in labor. She kept encouraging me with words that I still remember to this day and that gave me the strength to push through. Dasha was so proud of me afterwards and it made me feel proud that she was proud! She took care of my toddler at the house, spoon fed me in bed afterwards, and did the honors of dressing my newborn. She made sure my immediate post recovery a dream and followed up frequently to ensure my postpartum was ideal. She will forever be family.
