I had interviewed many Doula's and felt an instant connection to Ellie. She became a resource that I trusted right from the start. Down to earth and easy to talk to- I quickly thought of her as a friend. She passed down maternity clothes and offered natural remedies to stretch marks and other unpleasant pregnancy symptoms. My goal was to have an unmedicated Hypnobirth and she ensured that was attained. Through multiple position changes, positive coaching and maintaining a calm presence for me (and my husband), she knew what I needed without having to ask. Ellie took pictures and sent a summary of the hours leading up to the birth. It's nice to have these as momentos to always remember how my 4th baby came into the world, and I feel lucky that Ellie was a part of my birth story!
