I was truly blessed to have Cyrese as my doula. This was my fifth child, but my first time experiencing doula support—and I didn’t realize how much I needed it until I had her by my side.
Having gone through natural births before, I knew how hard it can be to bring a birth plan to life once labor intensifies. I’ve always had everything mapped out, but in the moment, I rarely remember much. That’s why having someone who could advocate for me and honor my wishes was so important.
I also knew I wanted a Christian doula, though I wasn’t sure how to find one. When I read Cyrese’s bio, I felt her heart and faith through her word. Her passion for supporting women through childbirth is undeniable, and her presence is both calming and empowering.
This pregnancy came with some fears being older and having had a more difficult previous birth. Cyrese met me right where I was emotionally. She offered affirmations, tools, and reassurance that helped me feel grounded and safe.
When I arrived at the hospital already 9.5 cm dilated, Cyrese was there to greet me and immediately took care of everything. She made sure the midwife and labor & delivery team were fully aligned with my birth plan father catching baby, delayed cord clamping, placenta storage, postponing weight checks and vaccines all handled without me needing to answer a single question post birth. And that alone was a gift, because after giving birth, the last thing you want is to be bombarded with decisions.
This was by far my smoothest, quickest recovery, and I know Cyrese’s support played a huge role in that. We are beyond grateful for her care and would wholeheartedly recommend her to any expecting parents whether it’s your first birth or your fifth.
