She was also extremely helpful in connecting me with resources for things like encapsulating my placenta, cord blood donation, birthing classes, etc
When things didn’t go exactly as planned and my baby’s heart rate started fluctuating during labor, having Meaghan there was 20,000× worth it. She kept me calm, explained what was happening, and made sure I still felt informed and empowered every step of the way. Her presence made the entire experience so much more relaxed and it truly felt like having a labor and delivery expert and a trusted friend in the room.
