Where do I even begin?! As a fairly new Doula I reached out to Marissa looking for some guidance after a not so great experience elsewhere. Not expecting much, I was blown away by her genuine kindness and her eagerness to support me as a doula, and as a person. Working with Marissa at the Lemon Grove was one of the best decisions I have made, and if I didn’t move out of state the lemon grove would be my long term home. Marissa not only supported me as a fellow doula, but she showed me respect, compassion and made sure I always knew she cared about me as a person, not just someone who worked for the Lemon Grove. I will always hold my time at the lemon grove close to my heart, I truly feel it has shaped me into the Doula I am today.
