Jena was a great support through every step of my pregnancy and birth. Even though this was my fourth birth, Jena brought a uniquely beautiful and creative energy to our prep and delivery. She spent time talking about my wishes and worries around my birth, helped me prep for those, and then helped me navigate them during the birth. I ended up needing some interventions I was hoping to avoid, but Jena remained calm, positive, and matter-of-fact. She helped me stick to my vision as closely as possible. She was a firm advocate of my wishes to my whole birthing team at all times.
My favorite part was how much her gentle coaching and hands-on assistance empowered my husband to be the best possible birthing partner he could be! I'll always be grateful that I had her by our sides for this experience and highly recommend her doula services to others.
