Meredith was a pleasure to have as our doula! When we found out that I'd need a C section at 37 weeks, we weren't sure if having a doula was still worth it, but Meredith was super flexible and we came up with a plan for what kind of support they could offer us leading up to surgery, as well as postpartum support. I ended up going into labor and needing an emergency C section sooner than expected, and Meredith rushed over only to have to sit in the waiting room for hours. They waited patiently and when they were finally able to come to our room, they were such a calming presence. It was such a relief to have their support after going through a traumatic experience. We had family support postpartum, but I am still so glad we decided to have Meredith's support as well and I would make the same decision again!
