When I first met Suzanne I knew I wanted to work with her and her team. My goal was to have a low intervention birth, and I knew I’d want extra support as I was being seen by a high risk OB team. Suzanne echoed all my concerns and spoke right to how the Dedicated Doula team could support me.
Suzanne and Cari provided great support through the end of my pregnancy. They were always quick to respond to any questions I had and provide advice if I needed it.
Cari supported me with my (not-so-low intervention) induced labor. I was especially impressed with her ability to predict what intervention was about to occur and give my partner and I some pre-education. Because of her support I felt confident in every labor decision I needed to make. In addition to her EXCEPTIONAL guidance, Cari provided us with some awesome birth photos, a delicious McDonald’s breakfast, and such calm energy.
In additional to great pregnancy and postpartum support, Suzanne additionally took maternity and newborn photos for us. My 3 year old made this EXCEPTIONALLY challenging, but Suzanne was super patient with her and we received some gems.
TL;DR The Dedicated Doulas are EXCEPTIONAL. I almost want to have another child so I can work with them again.
