I first got referred to Rebekah to through other military spouses that had recommended her as a doula. As a first-time mom, I am so thankful for many reasons that I ended up booking with her. Right from the start Rebekah made my husband and I feel so comfortable with her presence and help on this journey. As a first time Mom, you don't know what birth is going to look like or what to anticipate, so to be prepared for all aspects and possibilities was such a comforting feeling.
We had a few house visits that included birth plans, techniques, preparing and tons of knowledge for before, during and after birth. When it came time to be admitted to the hospital, Rebekah was extremely responsive and ready to be present at anytime. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have been able to advocate for myself the way I did during labor, and for that I am extremely thankful for. Not only was she available for our home visits and labor, she was also always responsive whenever it came to calling or texting her with any questions or updates that I had. My birth plan and Doctor situation changed quite a bit but she was very flexible with me nonetheless. If you are looking for a doula, I highly highly recommend reaching out and getting started with Rebekah.There is nothing more comforting than having peace of mind and knowledge about the unknown you are about to embark on!
