Janelle is a phenomenal doula who I would highly recommend to anyone looking to feel supported and encouraged throughout their pregnancy and birthing experience. We had a high-risk pregnancy with quite a few challenges and scary moments along the way. In addition to just outstanding knowledge, research and resources Janelle provides, she is also always in your corner to help navigate decisions, teach you how to advocate and make well-informed decisions, and advocate for you when needed. We had three pre-birth meetings where she led discussion through birth plans, preferences and unexpected situation preparations. She leads with encouragement and support, without judgement or shame. She truly helped us prepare for the moments we hoped wouldn’t happen, but did and thankfully were prepared for. I could go on and on, but in the end Janelle went above and beyond in being our partner through the entire experience, caring for us and walking through it all day by day alongside us. She worked so well with our medical team and hospitals, where she is authorized to participate at!
