It was so wonderful having Milla there through the birth of our son and we highly recommend her!
She is part of a doula partnership, but we ended up mostly working with her just given how the birth happened. She presented the Spinning Babies class at our house, attended the successful version of my breech baby, attended the delivery of our son, and did a two-week follow up visit.
Milla is down-to-earth, friendly, and non-judgmental. It’s clear she had solid experience advocating for families as a doula, and I can’t imagine the birth of our son without her there. She helped us feel more confident in asking questions to medical staff and therefore made us feel more confident in our medical decisions. My epidural wasn’t completely effective, and she worked with our nurse to help me find more comfortable positions. While my delivery ultimately ended in a c-section, Milla was there with us through the whole process and held my hand on the operating table while my husband was with our newborn son.
Both Milla and her doula partner were very responsive over text, especially as my due date approached and I went to the hospital to get induced. We recommend Milla!
