I was lucky enough to have Patti attend all three of my children's births. She is amazing and I would recommend her strongly! Not only is Patti extremely skilled in massage, but she is also highly educated in birthing, compassionate, reliable, and an all-around excellent birth advocate. My first birth was a long induction where I was in labor for over 12 hours. Patti helped my labor progress through massage and guidance on positioning during contractions, and with her help I was able to have a non-medicated hospital birth. For my second and third birth, I used the hypnobabies technique. She successfully guided me through it and helped instruct the rest of the labor team at the hospital so I could go at my own pace and have the birthing experience I wanted (also non-medicated births). Additionally, she was a great resource during my pregnancy when I had questions about exercise and about encouraging labor to start. Her pre-labor massage helped position my babies for birth. And after each birth she performed a post-partum massage on me and on baby that fostered our recovery. For my last post-partum massage, she spent hours realigning my hips and pelvis area and made me feel amazing! I can't imagine a better experience with a doula - Patti is worth her weight in gold.
