I cannot speak highly enough of Clara! She is such a calming and uplifting presence. Her approach includes evidence base research as well as the holistic approach which was the perfect balance. She helped give me the knowledge and mental preparation I needed to feel confident going into our birth. I felt so at peace heading into labor, knowing we had her in our corner. It allowed me to be fully present in myself and the moment knowing she was there. I told her when we met that my goal was to not use the word “trauma” to describe my birth story. What I couldn’t even imagine at that time is that I would end up describing it as “beautiful”.
We also had Clara take birth photos during the labor and delivery. If you are on the fence—DO IT! She captured the most beautiful and special moments that I couldn’t have even fathomed before seeing them. My husband said he liked our birth photos more than our wedding photos! :) We will cherish these forever.
