I don’t think I’ll ever be able to put into words just how amazing Vanessa is. She is the most loving and empathetic person I’ve ever met. She has the most calming presence and she knew just what to say and do during both of my labors. Knowing she was by my side made me feel safe and empowered. She even stayed for at least 3-4 hours after my son was born to do all the measurements, clean up, make sure I was fed, that my baby had latched and that all my questions were answered. Once my baby and I were in bed and comfortable is when she left for the night. And she was always a phone call/text away if I ever needed her. I know other people have said it already, but it is true, she is truly an angel on earth. There is just something about her presence and her calming voice and her knowledge on everything pregnancy/birth that just makes you know you are in good hands throughout your entire pregnancy and postpartum.
I love everything about what they do at Trinity. They don’t force you to do anything you are uncomfortable with. They always ask for your consent for every single thing. And there are no judgments one way or another.
Vanessa helped me focus on my breathing during my contractions, she massaged my back, talked to me in such a soothing voice to help me get through the contractions. Her just being there with me made me feel calm and safe, even though I was having the worst pain of my life. I can’t thank her enough for what she did for me and my babies. Even during postpartum and in the future, I know that I can always ask her for advice and any other questions I may have. She is a special woman that I am very thankful to have in my life!
