Jessie is a smart, experienced, caring, and super-supportive doula. Jessie's prenatal sessions were packed with great information that helped make the birthing process less scary as we anticipated the birth. She is an excellent communicator, with a grounded, down-to-earth and calming demeanor which is so comforting during both the lead-up to and during the labor and birthing process. She gave us a thorough run down of what to expect in the hospital, showed us exercises and positions to practice prior to going into labor, suggested ways to make the birth environment a more calming place, and was always available by text or email if we had a question in the months before birth. She was SO helpful during labor, and having her there with me and my husband helped us through a long labor, not only in terms of advocacy of our goals, but also in the encouragement and pacing during labor. I wholeheartedly reccommend her to any expecting mother. If we have more children, I hope we can work with Jessie again!
