As a first-time mom, I couldn't have asked for a better doula experience. From the moment she arrived, I felt an incredible sense of relief—like I could actually sleep at night without worrying if my baby was okay. Andrea gave me the confidence to trust myself as a new mom, gently guiding me to notice when my baby was full, what he needed, and reassuring me that I was doing a great job.
She was a true wealth of knowledge—from the right pacifier for a breastfed baby, to the best swaddle, to which positions actually help relieve newborn gas. Every piece of advice was practical, thoughtful, and tailored to my baby.
But what really set her apart was her energy. She felt like family. You could tell she genuinely loved my son and wanted the very best for both of us. She cared for me just as much as she cared for him—reminding me to hydrate, to avoid lifting too much, and most importantly, validating that recovering from a C-section is major surgery and that I deserve rest and sleep. She even made me feel like a total badass for making it through birth and for commiting to breastfeeding.
Her presence was comforting, grounding, and uplifting all at once. I truly cannot recommend her enough—she made an overwhelming time feel manageable, even joyful. Every new mom deserves someone like her in their corner.
