Carolyn is an amazing doula. My husband and I just gave birth to our first baby, and I knew early on I wanted to go the midwife/home birth direction. On top of that, her knowledge of all things birth and baby is such an ace in your pocket. I brought my baby girl earthside at the beginning of the month, and to say that my labor experience was beyond amazing and perfect is an understatement. I truly felt an immediate difference the second Carolyn arrived at my home. My contractions became more productive and regulated under her advice. She used her bag of tricks to ease my pain, and her soft, reassuring presence throughout each contraction and each push was exactly the encouragement and calming energy I needed. I honestly can not wait to become pregnant with my second, having had such a beautiful experience this last year. My first call will be to Carolyn to secure her services on my birthing team.
