I don’t even know where to begin, because words hardly feel like enough to capture what Katelyn meant to us during my labor and delivery. She helped us stay grounded when everything felt overwhelming and never wavered, even as the hospital dealt with a shortage of nursing staff. She guided me with position changes, and ensured I felt safe and supported — especially as I had opted for an epidural birth.
But beyond the physical support, Katelyn was a strong advocate for my birth plan. She made sure my voice was heard and my wishes were respected throughout the process.
