I cannot recommend my doula, Krista, enough. Throughout my pregnancy, she was my source of strength, guidance, and comfort. She gave me faith and confidence as I prepared for birth, and her presence made such a difference every step of the way.
Krista went above and beyond—she practiced pregnancy mock scenarios with me, introduced different oils until we found what I loved, and guided me through hypnosis techniques so I felt calm and prepared. She also took beautiful and valuable pictures on my big day, which I will cherish forever.
Even though my pregnancy and delivery didn’t go according to plan and I ended up having a C-section, Krista made the experience so much smoother. During surgery, she stayed by my side, telling me how my baby was doing, helping me feel calm and supported. When my husband had to leave with the baby for check-ups and vaccines, Krista immediately held my hand so I wouldn’t feel alone. She even advocated for me in the operating room, clarifying my needs with the anesthesiologist, which meant so much.
On top of that, Krista supported me well before delivery. She attended multiple Zoom meetings, came with me to doctor appointments, and even visited the hospital with me ahead of time to check out the labor and delivery unit so I felt prepared.
Krista is not only professional and knowledgeable but also incredibly caring and compassionate. She made me feel safe, supported, and confident through one of the most important times of my life. I am so grateful to have had her by my side.
