Chris was picked as our back-up doula since our’s was going to be out of town for 2 days near my due date. She took the time to come meet my husband and I when I was 36 weeks pregnant on the off chance we’d need her at our birth. From that meeting on she was constantly there to support me, learning my birth plan thoroughly and answering all of my questions.
I ended up needing an induction due to health concerns while our doula was out of town. From the second I told her I was being induced, she explained every choice I had and made sure I understood my options. She continuously checked-in throughout the early induction and labor process and was ready to be at the hospital as soon as we were ready making sure I was comfortable.
When called Chris to join us at the hospital, she was prompt and showed up with an entire suitcase of tools for supporting me through labor. She is very knowledgeable and a strong advocate for what you decide. Even though I was not a client of Chris’s most of my pregnancy, she was extremely helpful from the moment we met, I’m grateful she was able to attend and support my birth!
