Char was our doula in August 2025. We were first time parents and had a lot of nervousness around labor/birth. Char made sure that we had plenty of resources to read and refer to in order to make us feel more educated and prepared for birth. She was always available via text or call, and answered our questions before labor/birth without judgement.
During labor, Char was incredible. She made sure that my husband and I knew what was going on and understood medication options. She gave many suggestions on positioning, and stayed awake so that my husband and mom could get some sleep. She made sure that my husband and mom were able to have their time/roll in the room, while also making us all feel more secure and relaxed.
Throughout the entire process of pregnancy, labor, and birth, Char made sure that I was informed and heard. I truly couldn't imagine the experience without her and am forever grateful that she was there to support us!
