Laura was my doula for the birth of my first baby, and I can’t imagine going through it without her. My husband and I also took her childbirth class, which gave us the knowledge and confidence to make choices that felt right for us.
When my birth plan changed and I was induced at 41 weeks, Laura came to the hospital and stayed with us through the long labor and into my c-section. She was a steady, calming presence for both me and my husband - offering comfort measures, words of encouragement, and clear explanations of what was happening.
She never left my side, even in the operating room. When my husband went with the baby, Laura held my hand and comforted me, making a very difficult experience so much more bearable.
Laura was truly a source of strength and support, and I’m deeply grateful for the care she gave us.
