I cannot recommend Ursula highly enough. From start to finish, she was an absolute rock for me throughout my whole pregnancy and labour/delivery. She was incredibly aware of my needs at every stage: physically, emotionally, and mentally.
She accompanied me to my midwife appointments and got to meet my entire birthing team, which made me feel even more supported and prepared. She also had all the equipment needed and was always ready for anything - make sure to ask for her tens machine. She gave me as many prenatal massages as needed in her massage space, which is absolutely beautiful, so calming and comforting, and her hands are truly magic!
Even during the four long days of on-and-off false labour, Ursula remained calm, supportive, and endlessly patient with me. During labour, her massage techniques and pain relief methods used were truly incredible. Her touch always seemed to be exactly where I needed it most, whether it was gentle pressure on my lower back or perfectly timed counter-pressure during contractions; her skill and intuition made a world of difference.
One of the most unexpected and wonderful comforts she gave me was foot massages—yes, foot massages while I was in labour at the hospital! I can’t express how grounding and soothing it was in the middle of such an intense experience. It was one of those small acts that had a huge impact.
Having her by my husband and I’s side made me feel safe, empowered, and genuinely cared for. She brought so much peace into the room, and I’m beyond grateful she was part of my birth team.
And even after the birth, Ursula continued to show up for us. She gave the best timely advice during her postpartum visits, always knowing what to say and what I needed to hear.
Ursula is truly one of a kind, and I’m so thankful we found her.
