I met with Julie in my third trimester and knew right away that she'd be a perfect doula match for me. She helped me develop my birth plan, sent me exercises pertinent to that week of pregnancy, and checked in often. The day I went into labor, Julie was there with me from triage to L&D. My goal was to go as unmedicated/natural as long as possible and Julie was able to get me to that point and guide me every step of the way. She was also great alternating with my husband giving me counter pressure during contractions. I was around 8.5 cm dilated before I could not take any more of the labor pain, and Julie continued to guide and support me throughout. Even when I was in the bed s/p epidural placement, she helped facilitate movement in my legs to continue to create space for baby in prep for delivery. 100% recommend her!
