Having Jean at my sons birth gave me confidence in myself that I didn't have during my first birth. I felt safe with her. Comfortable being raw and naked in my skin, and knowing that she was not going to judge me and would support whatever I wanted for myself and my baby. She supported my husband as well and having her there allowed us both to meet our needs. I loved her support after pre birth appts too- she would answer my questions and remind me often that "every birth is different" and not to bring my past experience into this one. And boy was she right! When I was pushing she cheered me on and told me I was doing great and I really believed her. I would recommend Jean to anyone. I also really liked when she told me after a pre birth appt to talk to my baby (she said that might be too hippie dippie for me- and I said no such thing in my world!) it helped me connect with my son and ground myself. We love Jean!
