I am so thankful for my birthing experience and choosing Cece to be there by our side. After my first birthing experience, I decided I wanted to have a doula to help advocate for myself and help support my wishes for my last baby. Without Cece’s support, there is no way I would have been able to have an unmedicated low intervention birth. My husband and I are still in awe with how the room was set up when I arrived to the hospital. Dim lights, a warm running bath, and aromatherapy that filled the room that created a peaceful/ less hospital like feel.
She helped guide my husband with how he could support me through the most intense feeling and pain I have ever been through. With Cece I felt safe, listened to, and felt like I could trust everyone in the room.
It was the most surreal feeling being able to finally pull my own son out onto my chest, nursing him on the table enjoying the sweet golden hour that I prayed for. After not being able to do this with my first son due to having to be taken to the NICU, I am so grateful for the experience.
With Cece’s support, I was able to have the birth of my dreams. The birth I replay in my head over and over. I would do it again if I could. We are forever grateful and feel very blessed.
