I felt safe and supported, they helped me hold my boundaries with hospital staff, they helped me have the birth I wanted to have with my firstborn. it was a very healing process, and I feel so blessed to have had both of them in my journey. had I not had their support, my birth would have ended up very dramatically different, and there is a possibility I would have decided against another pregnancy.
