Ellen was incredibly communicative, always checking in on me after each doctor’s appointment and making sure I felt informed and confident in my choices. As someone who was determined to have a completely unmedicated birth, Ellen made it her mission to help me feel empowered and ready to accomplish that goal.
She met with us early in pregnancy, spent time getting to know our wishes, and helped us refine our birth plan over multiple revisions to ensure it was exactly what we wanted. She also provided us with resources and practical tips, including guidance on how to naturally induce labor as I neared 40 weeks.
During labor and delivery, Ellen was a constant source of support and positivity. She was there for every step, providing encouragement, helping me stay focused, and just being an amazing presence in the room. After birth, Ellen didn’t just leave us to fend for ourselves – she stayed with us in the hospital until we felt comfortable, and continued checking in to ensure both baby and I were doing well. Even now, a month later, she still reaches out to see how I'm healing and how my baby is growing.
