Approaching the birth of our first child, my husband and I appreciated having Jen’s expertise to guide us. Her confidence and experience–specifically with the hospital where we’d be giving birth–led us to hire her, and she helped us feel very secure leading up to labor. We knew there was a chance she’d be out of town during our actual labor, but she arranged for a fabulous back up doula to be available for us. While Jen didn’t end up being the one who was with us when baby was born, she was there for the beginning of labor, and she followed up during the postpartum weeks. It was so nice knowing we had someone with her knowledge who we could text or call with any questions or concerns! We especially appreciated her emphasis on evidence-based approaches.
