My husband and I worked with Morgan to prepare for the birth of our second daughter. After a traumatic first labor and delivery experience, I was anxious to work with someone who could support both of us throughout my pregnancy and support my goal of having a VBAC.
Morgan was a steady, calm, and reassuring partner for us from the moment we met her. She was empathetic and thorough in our pre-birth meetings, offering thoughtful suggestions about everything from pregnancy aches and pains to birth preferences. She did extra research around how to best prep for a successful VBAC, and shared resources for us to learn from. When I was debating an induction, Morgan was there to talk through my options and my emotions. When I went into labor, she met us at the hospital and was an amazing partner throughout the birth - from trying different stretches and positions to position my baby, to making sure I was fed and hydrated, to providing vocal encouragement throughout pushing.
Morgan helped to create a positive, encouraging, and even fun environment in the delivery room - something I never thought I'd say about labor! And, I was able to have a successful VBAC, thanks in part to Morgan's support before and during labor. My husband and I kept looking at each other and saying, "We are so glad Morgan is here!"
We loved, loved, LOVED working with Morgan and would do so again in a heartbeat. She was a central part of making our daughter's birth an incredible special and redemptive experience, and truly one of the most meaningful days of our lives. We recommend her wholeheartedly.
