When I started the process of finding a doula, I quickly realized it was not going to be as easy as I thought to find a good fit! But then I had a phone call with Paige - she had a lot of experience, had been through the birth process herself, and had a very normal and educated view of childbirth. I knew she would offer the practical and informative support I was looking for.
Each time my husband and I met with Paige before the birth, we felt so relieved that she would be with us for the delivery! She went above and beyond in offering a lot of care during my pregnancy when I learned I had a higher risk pregnancy. And when plans changed and I had to be induced, I felt a lot better knowing Paige was going to help guide us through a different experience than we were expecting. And when things really changed and it was determined I needed to have a c-section, Paige totally impacted what would have otherwise been a traumatic experience - she was able to be by my side for the c-section and in recovery while my husband was with our baby. She even visted us after in the NICU! Paige really cares for her clients and brings a calming voice that we all need during pregnancy and birth! I couldn't have asked for a better doula :)
