We were recommended to work with Kelly by my lactation consultant. We are first time parents without any family in the Juneau area. We were lacking in sleep, running on empty, and needing help from someone with experience. We felt so blessed to have Kelly come and support us. She helped watch the baby so I could get some more sleep and my husband could get some work done. Baby would wake every 2-3 hours to feed. I was also having breast-feeding issues with having the baby latch on. Kelly provided good pointers and tips to help with that as well. Her presence and emotional support helped during a very challenging time. Not to mention, she made us a nourishing meal and helped fold laundry that had been sitting around for days since we had little energy to do anything else than feed and figure out how to care for a baby. We felt very comfortable with Kelly and grateful for the help and expertise. We wholeheartedly recommend her as a doula for any family needing post-partum support!
