Viktorya helped me so much as a first time mom! She visited several times before the birth, to talk about my labor goals, provide education, discuss options, and provide emotional support. I have anxiety so had a lot of questions and Viktorya was so kind, patient, and informative. She was always available when something related to the pregnancy came up, and it was so nice to have her support throughout the pregnancy. She is the type of person who makes you feel empowered and supports your decisions, even if they may be different from her own. My labor was very long and exhausting, I was induced and the baby was posterior. It took 41 hours and I am beyond grateful for Viktorya being there for me. She was such a calming presence, stepped in when needed but let me have space to cope how I needed to. She supported my husband too, reminding him to eat and suggesting different ways for him to support me. Viktorya was there for me in the most important, most intense moment of my life, and I will always be grateful to her. If you're looking for a doula who is knowledgeable, respectful of your decisions, and a calming presence, I recommend Viktorya!
