Melissa was doula for the birth of our two boys. Both births were at birth centers, but could not have been more different. The first was long, exhausting, and challenging. The second was quick, beautiful, and stress-free. Through it all, Melissa was our rock. She is kind, caring, and patient -- providing unimaginable physical, emotional, and mental support when needed the most. She is knowledgable and skilled -- knowing exactly when to reassure, when to push, and when to step back. She exudes warmth -- she was my wife's shoulder to cry on for the good, bad, and everything in between.
We love her so much and are forever grateful that she was able to be part of our family's journey. I cannot fathom a better doula or person. She is truly special!
