There was not a question that went unanswered, no text or call (even late at night) that was not returned, and no feeling of uneasiness that she did not calm down.
She provided us with knowledge and tools that we utilized during labor, and her presence and support when we were deep in the trenches. I had an "interesting" L&D nurse who wasn't listening to my requests, but Fiona provided me with the positive energy while remaining firm as my advocate when I couldn't speak for myself. I am grateful because without her, I wouldn't have experienced my dream birth and achieved my goal of delivering my baby girl safely and unmedicated. It's one of my proudest moments in my life.
