Even after being a part of countless births, Shannon will make you feel like yours is the most important one in the world. She was so knowledgeable, communicative and available for support even throughout my pregnancy. The day of delivery she came prepared with the knowledge and tools to help me towards my goals.
She provided a judgment free space after equipping me with the knowledge of all the options. Because of that, I was able to have a relatively short labor and give birth without an epidural, two feats I could not have achieved had I not had her to support me and coach my partner along the way. We also wanted the experience to be centered with God in mind; Shannon was equally knowledgeable in Islamic practices, guidelines and faith-based support which truly grounded everything.
I would recommend Shannon as a doula time and time again. She's a gem of a human being and whether it's for birth education, doula services or postpartum care, Shannon will always bring her best foot forward.
