Melanie has truly been one of the greatest blessings we could have asked for during this journey. From the very beginning, during our consultation call, she expressed how she views each birth as both a natural process and a deeply spiritual experience. I’ll never forget her words: “God is working through it all.”
We chose to take two classes with her prior to the birth, and they were incredibly informative and practical. Because of her guidance, my wife was able to clearly understand every stage of labor—Melanie showed and explained exactly where we were in the process, every step of the way.
Melanie was fully present for my wife, but also for me as a husband and soon-to-be father. She checked in on me multiple times during the birth, prayed for us, and even reminded me to pray for my wife. Her care was deeply personal and intentional.
After the birth, Melanie took care of everything—cleaning, cooking, washing—so that we could focus solely on bonding as a family. She returned twice in the days that followed to check in, clean, and pour love into our home.
Looking back, I genuinely can’t imagine how the process could have gone more smoothly. It’s clear that Melanie was made to walk alongside moms and dads as they bring new life into the world.
