Although Sarah wasn’t able to be present at our birth due to unforeseen circumstances, we still had an incredibly positive experience thanks to her thoughtful preparation and the amazing support provided by her backup doula, Christina. When labor began, Christina stepped in seamlessly—clearly a reflection of Sarah’s dedication to building a strong and reliable support network. Christina was phenomenal - intuitive, encouraging, and provided unwavering support and reassurance during a long induction labor. As a first time mom, she made me feel confident, safe, supported throughout the entire experience. We even managed to have some laughs along the way during active labor. I'm certain that without Christina by our side, we would've had a much different experience.
Sarah and Christina's support didn’t end at birth! They also checked in with us postpartum to help us process our birth experience, offering guidance and kindness that made the transition into recovery and parenthood feel less overwhelming. Because of Sarah and Christina, we walked away with a positive birth experience despite having a labor and birth that didn't go as we planned. It’s clear she’s deeply passionate about what she does, and her dedication shines through in every interaction.
