Our baby arrived early. Water broke at work, and Summer was there at the hospital to advocate for us. She took priceless photographs of the us in the delivery room. Summer is very knowledgeable about medical questions. Whenever she's uncertain she turns to her network of doulas and medical professionals for more information. We have been able to depend on her even in the months after the birth of our baby. We especially appreciated the research Summer helped us do to learn more about global birthing traditions and rituals. She also helped us research postpartum confinement practices in different cultures to protect mother and baby. Our baby loves her and we are so grateful she is a part of his birthing story.
