I found Hannah while searching for a doula for the birth of my 2nd child, and from our very first conversation, I knew she was someone truly special. She is warm, caring, genuine, and deeply authentic. I felt an immediate connection with her during our introductory call.
What sets Hannah apart is that she sees her work as a calling—a ministry—rather than just a business. She pours her entire heart into supporting the families she serves. During my pregnancy, I faced some challenging moments both before and after birth, and Hannah was there every step of the way. She offered exactly what I needed in each moment whether it was words of encouragement, prayer (at one point she told me her whole family was praying for our birth, which moved me to tears), or thoughtful, detailed information to help me make decisions about my care.
When it came time for the birth itself, Hannah’s support was nothing short of perfect. She stayed on the phone with me while on her way to meet us, gently coaching me through contractions with a voice and methods that were instantly calming. Thanks to her suggestions for positions and strategies, my labor progressed beautifully—about 7–8 hours total, with only a few hours of active labor and 30 minutes of pushing.
We were especially grateful for the way she took the time to deeply understand all of our wishes for the birth and made them a reality in such a seamless, almost magical way. She also made sure my husband felt confident and involved, coaching him on how to best support me. He now describes the birth as one of the most meaningful moments of his life- thanks Hannah’s guidance.
This experience would not have been the same without Hannah’s wisdom, compassion, and unwavering support. She has the most beautiful spirit and is truly one of a kind.
