She gave me husband and I the tools and confidence we needed to labor without medication. It was the single most empowering experience of my life. It was super rewarding for my husband to be such a a huge part of the labor and birthing experience. The skills she taught us were invaluable. We loved our experience so much, we hired her again for for my latest pregnancy. We love how she involves my husband, how fun she is to talk to, and answers all our questions and concerns so we feel prepared for anything. It was an incredible experience having her there in the room when my baby was born. She was an absolute angel in the way she took care of me through gentle touch, coaching my husband, and advocating for me. She even took time to write down the event for me so we could discuss the details later. This woman also taught me how to nurse and latch my baby, burp my baby effectively, helped me identify my baby's dairy allergy, what nursing snacks would keep me full, and how to not generally feel like a zombie postpartum.
