Working with Gina was the best and most important decision we made my entire pregnancy. We had an incredible birth experience and it was 100% due to Gina’s know-how, advocacy, and emotional and physical support. Gina made sure we were informed and approached the pregnancy and labor experience with excitement, joy, and optimism rather than stress and apprehension. She supported us through switching medical providers, significant changes in plans due to unexpected health issues that arose late in pregnancy, and has a trauma informed approach that was very important to us. Even through some bumps (emergency induction and hospital birth), I was confident because Gina helped troubleshoot, answered practical questions, and helped keep me physically comfortable enough to have an unmedicated birth as I desired. Her expertly packed bag of comfort items for the labor itself included many things I deeply appreciated and didn’t even know I needed until the day. She also did an amazing job supporting and providing resources to my husband so we were the best team we could be throughout the process.
No matter where you are in your pregnancy journey, Gina has an ability to quickly build trust. She is kind and deeply empathetic. She will help you feel empowered and extremely well cared for. As a Doula, she is responsive via email, portal and text. She brings her best professional, intelligent, well researched self to every meeting (plus has a great sense of humor). We cannot recommend her highly enough.
