I highly recommend having Shannon as a doula. This was my third birth and I had some hesitation about whether or not I would need a doula but it was the best decision I made to hire Shannon. This was my easiest and smoothest birth yet and the only one I've done unmedicated and I credit that to having Shannon's support. She's very knowledgeable about the birth process and has great instincts about what you need to make it more comfortable for you. She helped make this birth the spiritual experience that I wanted it to be and not to mention the physical support she provided through the labor. I can't say enough about how wonderful Shannon is and if I have another baby, I will absolutely be reaching out to her again.
