We had the pleasure of meeting Christa (and Laura!) during our prenatal classes. The information provided was valuable going in to childbirth. Christa and Laura provided us with realistic expectations (and some humor) for the big day. My husband and I went one step further and hired Christa to be our doula. We knew Christa's experience and training aligned with our wishes for birth. From our first one on one meeting I knew we had made the right decision. Christa listened to my wishes, made suggestions and answered questions. I felt so supported during my pregnancy because I was able to text her and ask questions I had. Christa also provided my husband with one on one tips for helping to make me more comfortable during pregnancy and in labor. The day of our son's birth, Christa was there. We texted her when contractions were getting stronger and she met us at the hospital. I don't know if we could have done it without her. Christa was my constant. She helped me through any decisions I had to make. She got me in positions for contractions that made me more comfortable because she listened to what I needed. I know my husband appreciated having Christa in the room - and she made him look good! The pictures Christa took will be cherished forever. Postpartum, Christa was there. I knew I could text her with any questions or concerns I had. I could express how I was feeling (and still feel like I can!) I always look forward to her visits. Christa is truly a light and I would highly recommend her.
