We hired Scarlett as our doula when a friend recommended her. I spoke with 3 other doulas and I chose Scarlett because of her calming voice and demeanor. I knew she would be the right person for the job but I never knew her influence would be so incredibly important in my labor and outcome of my delivery. I was induced 2 days before we had our daughter and Scarlett was there every step of the way. She helped me weigh my options and never told me what to do but rather, guided us to make the best decisions possible. We used multiple birthing techniques from guided meditation before and during labor, she taught us stretches and poses that my husband could help with in the weeks leading up to labor, but ultimately the thing that helped the most was Scarlett’s guidance through specific poses that would readjust my baby during labor when she had entered the birth canal with her head tilted and our CNM was advising a C-section. Scarlett led me through a series of stretches and poses that moved our daughter into the right position so she could be born vaginally. We were so incredibly happy with the outcome and I could not recommend her enough to anyone who is considering hiring a doula. It is the best money we have ever spent and we would hire her again if we decided to have another child. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel for her today.
