We were blessed to have Cash as our postpartum doula and it transformed my postpartum experience from my last two babies into something so nourishing and grounded. I cannot even believe how much thought and intention Cash put into our weekly care ritual. It became an anchor point for our weeks that can so easily turn into a wash of sleepless nights and days in the postpartum timeline.
Cash helped us process my placenta the day after my baby was born and was there to hold spiritual and emotional space for me to process my birth story, they provided me with gentle body work and nourishing meals for our family. I was blessed with beautiful herbal baths and delicious treats in our 5 weeks together but more than anything Cash saw and gave emotional support, aid, and real empathy and compassion that comes only from another parent that has really been there as the sleep deprivation started to etch away at my sanity. Our final session together Cash lead me through the most beautiful ceremony to help move into this new era of our life. The whole time Cash met us exactly where we were, communicated so clearly and tailored our experience to what we needed most at the time. I wish every parent could have a postpartum doula to give them support like this, it’s truly been a life changer for me to be able to receive so much care. We are eternally grateful.
