The comfort measures she taught my husband and me were truly a game changer during labor. Thanks to her techniques, I was able to labor at home for 14 of my 21-hour labor, calm, confident, and in control. When it was time, I transitioned to the hospital and was able to have the beautiful, unmedicated water birth I had hoped for.
Kyra came fully prepared to every prenatal session with detailed handouts and explained everything clearly and patiently. Anytime we had questions or needed additional support, she went above and beyond, offering personalized resources, recommendations, and trusted referrals.
When labor began, Kyra came to our home and supported us in ways both big and small, from helping pack my hospital bag to assisting my husband with loading the car. At the hospital, she was by my side, applying counterpressure during contractions, offering encouragement, and working seamlessly with my husband, mom, sister, and the medical staff. She even captured a few precious photos after the birth, which I will always treasure.
