We had such a great first-time birth experience with Catherine's doula support. We strived for a natural, unmedicated, vaginal birth at a hospital and her expertise allowed us to be the best prepared as possible. After our prenatal visit and numerous resources she provided, we went into delivery very confident. Our story took a turn when our plan didn't go as hoped and we ended up needing a vacuum delivery for the health of the baby. Having Catherine there throughout the entire process was such a reassuring comfort and she worked great alongside hospital staff, keeping our best interest as priority. She provided hands on guidance for my husband assisting me through many positions throughout labor and talked us through all the decisions we needed to make on the spot. She was a great calming presence that helped us stay focused and determined through a long and somewhat complicated delivery. We would highly recommend having a doula for a natural birth, and we cannot say enough good things about Catherine.
