Meredith truly takes the time to get to know you as a couple, educate you (if you want it- they are so good at checking in about your wants and needs) on the process of labor and delivery, and with love and respect works to ensure that they understand your desires and birth plan. From the very beginning I felt safe with their confident, thoughtful, direct, and easeful approach. That energy carried through the entire birthing experience. They were a strong advocate for my needs, slowed things down to make sure I understood what was happening and to make sure I was making decisions that were thoughtful and not based on fear, and brought joy and lightness to what was ultimately a very long and unexpected experience. When things got a little dicey and scary at the end of our child's delivery, Meredith stayed by my side while my husband was able to go be with our baby. They were truly my rock. I cannot recommend them enough!
